Would you say the event was good value for money? Absolutely, great support for the distance and such a friendly atmosphere. They have an eco-friendly (but still generous!) approach to the goody bag too which I liked.
What tips would you give to others before they take on this event? There’s a cheap premier Inn in Welwyn if you need to stay. It’s a small race at the moment so not a bad idea to do event with someone if you’re not comfortable with long stretches on your own.
Would you take part in this event again? Absolutely, the guys who run it – Camino Ultra – could not have been more supportive. It’s a great first step in to ultra running (couldn’t imagine a better one).
