What tips would you give to others before they take on this event?
The car park is well-located near the start-although you have to get there early to get a space. There are not many other options once it is full. You finish the run in the same place where you start which means you can leave jackets, etc at the start. Most importantly, make sure you leave plenty of time to visit the Café, which was excellent!
Would you take part in this event again? Yes!
This was a really friendly parkrun in a beautiful location. You begin with the river Conwy on your left with Conwy Castle rising out of the water on the other side of the river bank. After crossing a railway bridge (which is probably the only thing which could be described as an ‘hill’ on the route) you run towards the castle before turning back onto a lower path. You then continue along the river until you reach the marshalled turnaround point where you turn back towards the start.
The paths are long and straight, giving you magnificent views along the river Conwy.
